Diane Lauer

About the Author

Diane Lauer grew up in a military family. She earned her BA in History and Political Science from Bridgewater college. She married and had two sons and a daughter (who just happens to be her co-author). Diane was a stay-at-home mom for twenty-six years while writing, quilting and painting in her free time.

After her children left home, she returned to school and earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrated Health. Afterwards, she opened an acupuncture practice from which she has recently retired.

Diane presently enjoys spending quality time with friends, family, a backyard alligator, and her creative pursuits.
